shelter from the storm

3 friends and I decided to take a short backpacking trip into the lost coast. We started in shelter cove and hiked up the coast to a wonderful place, full of surprises and adventure. There are a couple of good surf spots up there, to my delight on Friday the surf was wonderful and I got to paddle out to my own private surf spot. We went out and stayed in spite of the weather reports regarding a large winter storm poised to strike the coast on Saturday and Sunday. We rode out the storm Saturday night in our lean to, and Sunday we hiked out into the storm. Great fun, beautiful place, rugged coastline, campfires, animals, stars, waves, wind, water, and friends.

Can you change the bf reference to "somewhere." Example - somewhere-shelter from the storm. Don't want to overexpose the place. Thanks dude.
From a long time visitor to the place.

You guys are already over-exposing the spot by putting these pictures up! Remove them and do the spot (and surfing) a favor!!

Seriously, send the pictures to your friends via email! No need to open the spot more by giving it a webpage!

you should really take this post down.why do you have to put this stuff on the internet? i have seen other places get destroyed from photos like these. please be respectful to the ones who paved the road before us and remove the post. if not out of respect at least for yourself so you will have a "private beach" all to yourself later. use some common sense.

Stoked! Thanks for covering this spot! I have several friends prepping for the 1st Annual Humboldt Invitational Flotsam Surf Contest. They intend to sponsor a jetski demo and are bringing in big national sponsors. A barge is being planned to bring in a BBQ pit and the usual porta potties etc. Look out for it.
